Ohio SpecialCareSM Resources
Part of the mission of MassMutual Ohio’s Special Care Planning Team is to help families connect with Community Partners - organizations and service providers versed in the needs of families with special needs. Through our relationship with Community Partners, we are able to refer families to the organizations and providers who can address concerns and issues families may have. Community Partners are there to help with:
* Support Groups * Education * Health Care * Respite Care *
* Government Benefits * Information * Referrals *

Learning and Education
If you are like most families, you’ve already done much to educate yourself about your family member’s special needs. But you also know there is much more you can learn to help you make informed decisions about what is right for you and your loved ones. We offer free workshops geared towards your support or parent group, and for employer sponsored employee meetings that cover topics such as:
- Creating a Life Care Plan for your Loved One with a Disability
- The Letter of Intent - building a roadmap of your loved one’s current situation as well as hopes and dreams for their future
- Special Needs Trusts
- Setting Financial Goals
- Government Benefits, and more
Contact our Special Care Program Manager for more information or call 419-887-6233.
Check out upcoming SpecialCareSM events and event photos. If you’d like to receive periodic emails about events and workshops provided by our Team or Community Partners, please send us an email or call 419-887-6233 and ask to be added to our email list.
We are proud to be a leader in supporting the special needs community in Ohio. In addition to sponsoring quarterly Sensory Friendly Family Movie nights which are free to individuals with special needs, their families and caretakers, we donate our time and make financial contributions to help improve quality of life, fund research and raise awareness. We collaborate with several of the organizations listed below to provide education and resource information through workshops and various other events to families and caretakers.
